Our tools for silicon design and development are on HP Unix boxes.
Schematic capture is Viewlogic on NT 4.0
PCB layout / routing is Allegro Designer 12.2 / Specctra 7.1.4 on NT 4.0

NT has been stable for us and we have no complaints.

I use Win 95 at home mainly for PhotoShop and it is far less stable and robust
than NT for moi.
