I installed and tested Win98 beta 3 and had the same impression as yours,
very stable and very good. I had no crashes, it detected my hardware
perfectly and converted my FAT16 to FAT32 in less than five minutes (2.1
Gb). It runs my legacy DOS programs very well (PCad at 1280x1024, OrCad SDT
at 1024x768, Tango at 800x600), and is my next step. My demo versions of
Accel EDA, PADS, Protel, Mentor IntegraStation, Eagle and CsiEDA all run ok
too.
