Hello Technetters!
The SMTA Great Lakes Chapter (Chicago area) is holding a Rework
Symposium on June 30th. (I know REWORK is a dirty job, but some of us
have to do it!) We will have several speakers in the morning on the
following topics:
- Rework Management & Optimization
- Choosing the Correct Reowrk Method for each Application
- New IPC Standards for Rework & Repair
- Successful BGA Rework and Site Preparation
- Rework & Repair Solder Training, Its Importance and ISO 9000
- EOS/ESD and Its Importance in Rework & Repair
We will have a tabletop Rework Vendor day in the afternoon, where
suppliers will have equipment powered for demonstration of latest
techniques and technology.
Great giveaways too...
- the latest IPC Rework & Repair Guidelines
- an SMT rework training class for one
- a Pace soldering station
- and some "fun" stuff
