I have had a good experience working on floor for ESD. Normally the
conductivity of the floor is within the range for initial couple of
years (my floor was OK for 5 years) even with normal vax (I would
recommend periodic testing though, as per EOS/ESD Stds.) , after that
you may want to start applying special ESD VAX, I evaluated two vaxes
from different companies and one of them gave me good result .

You might want to hear about these VAX companied off line from me,
please drop me a mail .

Thanks
Kishore Gagrani

Conductive floors must not be waxed with ordinary wax. The
manufacturer of
the conductive floor should provide you with maintenance instructions.
 You
may wish to have a shiny finish on the floors. It does impress the
customers and visitors. There are many good static dissipative
finishes
which are reasonable in price now available. Some new types are
identified
as long life floor finishes. The material costs are a little higher
than
industrial floor waxes, but the maintenance of the floor is about the
same.
Call me and I will give you some waxes that I know are good. Set uo a
test
area and test several waxes to find the one that gives you the gloss
that
you want and the life that you need, with the minimum of maintance.
