Hello.

Here are a few answers:

The number of lines for the digest message is set to be no more than 1000. This is
extremely small, way below the acceptable Internet standards. Making the digest
message any shorter will defeat the purpose of digest.

This is a local configuration that we have no control over. Please remember that we
have over 1500 subscribers on the TechNet, and many on the other forums, all with
different mail systems and configurations. I think that contacting your IS department
and requesting them to change the settings to accept messages longer than 1000 lanes
with attachments would be the most effective solution

We are trying our best to accommodate all the different requests about the format,
size, etc., but there is a limit to what we can do. Please accept my apologies if
there is something that I will not be able to reconfigure to meet your needs.

Regards,

No, with bulletin boards you have to log in and check everything
yourself,
which takes longer than just deleting the junk you don't wanna see.

The ultimate solution in my opinion is to send a command to change your
status to DIGEST

With DIGEST on, you only get one or two a day and you can see at a
glance
which topics are relevant to you (assuming people use good titles)

Just one opinion, ( werx fer me ) Jack

Vincent brings up a good point. Should the format be changed
from
email to
        a bulletin board type forum?
