Dear Paul,

What a bummer, I had a badly designed Philips VCR dropped when I last
moved, but I wasen't lucky enough to see the crack. That main PCB was
badly supported in so many areas, and jamm packed!.

It does seem that you have done a nice job of epoxying the board
together, but not confident enough to tackle the solder job with tools
that are a little agricultural for the job.

I have tackled many jobs of this nature, and rather than trying to tell
you how to do it, (this is too hard) or telling you that it can't be
done, that your friend got ripped off on the purchase, or what ever else
has broken, I will fix the board for you for $0.00 if you will send it
to me.

It's a lot easier than watching the posts on the subject.

No joke, If you wan't to send the board packaged correctly down under to
Sydney Australia, I will have a well experienced go at it. (my smallest
repair was a 1 mil bond wire in a prototype hybrid circuit).

Otherwise I have to commend you on your excellent photography skills.
email me direct if you are interested.

Regards
JEff
