MEI will be speaking with the group on the topic of Data, more
specifically, " The data you send and what MEI/ Typical board
shops do when they recieve the data"
Jerry Partida is our CAM Engineer, and is quite the expert on the
subject. Jerry is preparing a 1 hour talk on the topic, and feels that
there should be app 2 hours or so of questions, if the group is lively
that night.
Some of the issues that he will be going into detail on will be as
follows:
Things that help in the link of designer and board shop, key issues to
watch out for..
What can cause delays in the transition process from Gerber to the
shop floor.
The impact of sloppy documentation.
Major discussion on the tooling of jobs both for quick turn and
production.
