Hi,
        You must remember to clean off the surface before trying to replace the
traces and after you do replace the traces with the kit material,
hopefully the have provided some form of coating or adhesive to cost the
repaired surface or else it may start to oxidize and rust and then fail
at a later time.... nail polish may do the trick if you don't have
anything else.
        Besides this all you need is a steady hand and lots of patience.
