I have been using Allegro Designer on NT platform and Allegro Interactive
on Unix for over a year now.  I can tell you that Allegro Interactive will
be going away and becoming Allegro Designer or Allegro Expert with roughly
the same functionality on either platform.  I am currently using Allegro
Designer 12.2 on NT.  I would not have any problem using it only on the NT
platform, however I still prefere the unix platform because the operating
system if far superior.  If you would like further information, please
