I confess to not understanding what you mean by "board extractor hardware"?
Could you elaborate please.

If by this you refer to some form of heat removal/exhaust, from the area
around the assembly, then I cant see why this would pose any problem unless
the coating material has not fully cured, or that the chosen material may
outgass undesirable elements that could find their way onto part surfaces,
that should be kept clean.

As an example of this, I know of 1 Auto manufacturer, who experienced field
failures because the coating was "thought" (not necessarily proven) to have
outgassed some element onto an adjacent open relay that was used to signal
the driver that the trafficator was working. The assembly was located in the
dashboard under the windshield where it got real hot to around 90-100
degrees C!

Hope this helps, or you can enlighten me further as to your precise problem.
