> ################################################################The oxide coating is used to passivate the copper surface and provide
sufficient surface area which will allow the prepreg to bond to. the
oxide crystals are formed by a process that causes the anodic oxidation
of copper in an alkaline medium. the peel strengths of the prepreg onto
to copper are greatly increased over the results obtained with no oxide
treatment at all.

thanks
