Need help in generating a simple land pattern and comments from
the assembler. Our land pattern expert is busy, so I decided to
generate
  a footprint for a MIL-PRF-55681/4E, CDR12 style ceramic cap...Not
a problem...WRONG !!! The IPC land pattern calculator asks very
embarrassing questions like "Fab Tol", "Place Acrcy" and the ever
popular "Solder Joint Design Goals" Do I really have to talk to a
group
of people to get those numbers or are there "rule-of-thumb" numbers
that I can use ??? I would think that those numbers could also be
  assembler dependent. Suggestions welcomed !!

Also, are there any assemblers out there that would like to comment on
using this .055 X .055 part. Remember that this is a family forum and
young
children may be reading your comments. :) :)

Thanks in advance for all help/suggestions/comments. Enjoy..

           Regards,
Norden Systems
