No, I'm afraid that is no hoax at all.....
I was in contact with Mike C. from the SMTNET Forum. The correct
patent numbers are 4312692 and 4314870 (somebody read an ugly
handwritten 3 as 8, I assume). And take a seat and fasten seat belts
before reading the claims, and then throw away your wave solder
machine........
