Technetters- While reading and studying the new respiratory safety
requirements from OSHA, I wondered what standard practices and changes the
industry was going through with regards to wave soldering. We currently use
respirators during maintenance and de-dross as a safety precaution. We have
a training program in place, and monitor the system monthly. It looks like
all we will need to do is a comprehensive analysis of the work area. How is
this new regulation affecting you? What systems do you have in place, and
how are you improving them? Thanks in advance for your input. Joe
