Bob,
You had to select a family of similar components in order to create you new
component. The component that you made it from contains industry assumptions for
those items you question. If you are unsure of what to use, copy those assumptions
and you should be safe.

Need help in generating a simple land pattern and comments from
the assembler. Our land pattern expert is busy, so I decided to
generate
a footprint for a MIL-PRF-55681/4E, CDR12 style ceramic cap...Not
a problem...WRONG !!! The IPC land pattern calculator asks very
embarrassing questions like "Fab Tol", "Place Acrcy" and the ever
popular "Solder Joint Design Goals" Do I really have to talk to a
group
of people to get those numbers or are there "rule-of-thumb" numbers
that I can use ??? I would think that those numbers could also be
assembler dependent. Suggestions welcomed !!
Also, are there any assemblers out there that would like to comment on
using this .055 X .055 part. Remember that this is a family forum and
young
children may be reading your comments. :) :)
Thanks in advance for all help/suggestions/comments. Enjoy..
Regards,
