We use UNICAM and it is good at some things not so good at others. It
doesn't have an undo button, but it interfaces well with CAD data. We
did have a lot of problems with the orientations of parts when it was
dumped into the Fuji machines. They would be changed from 90 to 270 or
180 to 0, but it was consistent and somewhat easily fixed.

It is difficult to control revision levels. It keeps the data in a
separate directory for each 'job'. This will not allow you to read this
data with anything but UNICAM. It will allow you to set up stations for
manual assembly but the rev levels on these drawing will match the rev
levels of the SMT documentation. If you change the stations and rev up
the document you must then rev up the SMT documentation to make it match
the most current rev. We have different people running the
documentation for SMT vs. manual so if I rev up manual I must also rev
up SMT, not horrible but cumbersome.

I don't have any experience with any other packages so I can't compare
them. We had a lot of problems in the beginning but are happy now.

You must pay extra to be able to export as a graphics file. We haven't
purchased this option yet but it may be the answer I am looking for.

Just my two cents.
