Hi Joe,

I have been emplyed with three companies who have had similar problems and each have made tests for reliable connectivity, especially under high vibration conditions. All have arrived at the same conclusion. A test pin to ground plane, or nearest grounded pin, connected with a wire or braid and a solder tag to a panel/board fixing screw (with the wire suitably adhered to the board if necessary), has been found to be the better solution.

Hope this may help a little.
