We've been using Staticide Gold static dissipative floor wax for a little over
a year with pretty good success. We applied it on a non-esd, ordinary vinyl
floor in order to use heel straps. The cost is more than you would want to
pay, though, approximately $50.00 per gallon (coverage is about 2000
sq.ft./gal.) The good part is that it is quite durable... it lasted about a
year, then we had to re-wax. Occasionally, spot touch-up is required on heavy
traffic areas. We do perform resistivity checks on random areas of the floor
to ensure proper dissipation. The initial application (requires three coats)
resulted in a very clean, high gloss floor.
The manufacturer is ACL Staticide, Elk Grove, IL, (708) 981-9212.
