It's so nice to be able to ask questions here and not get sneered at
or ridiculed.

I now know that I do not use a CCT type router.  I occasionally use
our Cadstar Autorouter just to get me started.  I'm the only one here
who does.  The guys say that it doesn't do what you want it to and
you end up spending more time cleaning up a layout than if you hand
routed it.  I've learned the reason it does that is bcause they never
took the time to tell it what to do or to give it the guidelines
necessary to comply with our "standards".  I have and it's not a bad
program.  Sure, I go in afterward and do some manual re-routing but
it's still alot faster than I am at getting something routed.
