Hi Folks, a quick question. What are the general trends for defining
dpmo. They way I understand it is

dpmo = Total defects / Total opportunities.

My question is that if there are two or more defects of the same kind on
the board - such as - shots on a QFP. Now would this be counted as 1
defect or it would be counted as two or more defects. Because if it is
counted as two or more the dpmo changes. I want to know what is the
general industry practices.

Any help will be appreciated.
