Hi Gary--

Did you receive any information on crimping????

If not, let me know and I'll look through my old files and find the
"Cable Spec" I developed for my previous employer. It was very
complete, had crimping requirements based on UL and Mil Spec, testing
and quality requirements.

I gave a copy of the spec to the IPC, there have been several abortive
attempts to reduce it's size and limit the breadth of coverage. There
is now another "association" something like "National or American Cable
Harness Association" or something like that. They're meeting later this
month in Irvine, CA (south of LA), at the prodding of the IPC, I'm going
to attend for one day to transfer technology/information. I sense the
IPC is backing out of the full definition of "electronic packaging" and
limiting their scope to printed boards and related packaging.

So if you need some more info, let me know and I'll try to locate what
I've got.

Ralph
