You will also need a Palladium activator bath and perhaps some cleaning
solutions for your substrate.  But, the E-nickel suppliers can explain
all that (on tech data sheets) and supply the necessary chemistry.
Enthone-OMI, Shipley, Technic are also suppliers, and most have
distributors that handle the small quantities you need.

Hi

Electroless nickel can be used in a beaker. But;
1. Use a new beaker - scratched ones plate out onto the scratches
2. Make up new each time you use it especially if small volumes

Most plating suppliers will have an electroless nickel on their books.
