Hello All

I am responding to the message below, however I did not see the original.
I would like to say something about AOI, although it might be out of
content.
An AOI machine which can inspect surface circuitry, innerlayer or
outerlayer,
cannot inspect the entire board for electrical connections. A finish bare
board
would have to be electrically tested to give the best guarantee of a 0
defect
product.

Most manufactures of medium to large volume will AOI inspect innerlayers
prior
to an oxide or pressing operation and after SES( Strip resist, etch, strip
solder)
for surface defects.
