Dear Sirs,

as an institute for production engineering at the Technical University
of Aachen, Germany, we are consulting a company in stroring the
components of their products.

In this context we need information about how long electronical
components like circuit boards or wires can be stored before they are
mounted into the product. We would like to know if there are any
international standards (e.g. ISO) about this topic or if you can give
us some advice. And we also would like to know under what conditions
(e.g. concerning humidity or temperature) the durability can be
extended.

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

Best Regards
Thomas Lange-Stalinski
