Hi Mike! (...and everybody else out there too!)

     Have ya'll looked at anything from Vision Engineering yet? That's been
their "claim to fame". That is; inspection stations that are less tiring to
use for 8-hours a day. If you've never seen a piece of their equipment,
instead of a binocular type of eyepieces, they use a sort of "display" and a
bunch of mirrors to bring the image up to the display.

Their top of the line units can be expensive, but so can regular microscopes.
I tend to like them though, even if they are a little more than scopes.
They've got units that have a rotating mirror mounted at a angle so that you
can view 360-degrees around a part without moving the board, ports for
camera's, all kinds of different reticles available, yadda, yadda, yadda....

The way I look at it, if an inspector is getting uncomfortable using the tools
that they need for their jobs, then that's really going to affect the quality
of the job they do. They may focus more on how crappy they feel rather than
making sure that what they are inspecting is right or not.
