Usually de-weeting occurs because of incompatibility of the two coatings. Most
LPI's as well as conformal coatings contain wetting/flow agents. These
materrials can be incompatible with each other and are frequently the cause of
dewetting. Dry film on the other hand do not require the same type or level of
these flow/wetting agents and are more robust against this dewetting
phenomena. I would talk to your supplier and ask them if they a have similar
versions with different wetting agents available for test purposes.

However, you definitely mention silk screening as the process. Does this mean
your screens are truly silk or are they polyester or even Ni?mSilk itself can
frequently have a material on it from spinning operations and that may also
cause dewetting. Anyway, if you are using silk a change to polyester may help
or point the way.
