I've got a need to manufacture some printed boards.
I would be very convenient, lower cost, and very time-saving to transfer
black/white Adobe Illustrator "line and filled images" from a <*.tif>
(tagged-image-file-format) or some other bit-imaged format, to a
(Gerber) or some other raster photoplotter to manufacture some example
printed boards. The image has "conductor widths" and "conductor edge
definition" anomalies of +/- 0.1 mm [4 millinch] and a required profile
tolerance of +/- <25 micrometers [1 millinch].
Is there a translator program available????
Thanks, Ralph
