======== Original Message ========
I have a little problem, perhaps someone could help to steer me in the right
direction. I have a bunch of old designs (Gerber and Excellon Drill files)
that
I need to create a drill drawing for. I need to show the quantity, size,
plating requirements and a unique symbol or letter for each occurrence (a
typical drill drawing without the dimension). The only files I have to
create
this from is the Excellon drill file. I have looked at CAM350 and I can
reverse
engineer a drill drawing with that but it takes about 5-10 minutes and I
would
need to train others how to do it. Besides the fact that buying CAM350 to
create drill drawings is like buying a tractor to make a flower garden. Is
there software that can do this and only this?
Thanks for any help!

Since the source of the drawing will be the data you currently have,
generating a "Drill Drawing" from it seems to only serve for reference
purposes. A service bureau may be all you need. If you need to do it
yourself you might try Lavenir's View+386 CAM tool which is around $500.
