        Ed: A gold bath with a valence of 1 will plate 7.356gm/amphr at 100%
cathode efficiency. This is equivalent to 0.2363 Troy oz/amphr or roughly
1Troy oz/4amp hrs. Your bath DOES NOT operate at 100% efficiency. Contact your
gold bath supplier, they can give you a pretty close estimate of what it should
be. However as stated in another posting you can run your own plating efficiency
test to obtain a more accurate number.
                        Plating Efficiency X 0.002363 = Troy oz/amphr

Can anyone provide me with information on how many oz of gold per amp =
hour I should be seeing. I use gold usage vs amp hours as a guide for =
gold consumption.  I'm basically looking to find  out what  other shops =
are seeing.
