Here are some sources of information:

http://rome.iitri.com/RAC/DATA/ Data available for purchase
http://www.barringer1.com/wdbase.htm Mechanical reliability data
http://www.gidep.corona.navy.mil/ Must be a member to retrieve info
http://www.reliability.com/wwwboard/ Bulletin board for
posting/answering questions

Other sources of information are Mil-Std-217 and Bellcore TR-332.
They have data by component type, but you may want to exercise caution. Many
have found the data to be higher than actual, especially in the mil spec.
My personal preference is to contact the supplier directly, get their
reliability data and test method, and adjust to your conditions.

Good Luck,
Glenn Pelkey, CQE, CRE
Maxtek Components Corp.

| TechNet:
| We are searching for forums/databases that document known
| quality/reliability problems with components. Does anyone
| know of places
| on the www where component problems are/can be posted?
| Ideally, we'd
| like some sort of component database/look-up table.
