 Dear Yee T.G. :

Is the stain white spot on pad?
If so, I'd like to tell you some information I experienced.
I would recommend to check it step by step in your process line.
If the spot happens after OSP soaking, check the pre-treatment.
Degreasing and acid cleaning is good, then the stain would be considered
as the 'thick film' of OSP. Generally, it is easily wiped out by 1% HCl.
I've checked a few maker's OSP including 4 Japanese and found only Tamura's
showed no irregular coating-looks like water spots- on copper pad.
Remember? Tamura is the original manufactruer of Enthone OSP.
Tamura also experienced that kind of blame from Korean customer and
improved it only after introducing new product last year.
I hope above would help to solve your 'dillema'.
