New Manufacturing technology in its business context

An EPSRC Sponsored Short Course & MSc Module

30 March - 3 April 1998

The objective of this course is to transfer state of the art knowledge in
electronics
manufacturing to recent graduates in engineering or physical sciences. The
course will
also be available for updating of more senior engineers. The technical
knowledge will
be firmly grounded within overall business trends. There will also be an
opportunity
for course members to apply their new knowledge to current problems. Credit
accumulation will allow the one week module to contribute to an M.Sc. degree.

This is a new 5-day short course organised by the Interconnection Group
within
Loughborough University's Department of Manufacturing Engineering. The
Department  received an excellent rating of 23 out of the maximum of 24
points in
last year's HEFCE independent Teaching Quality Assessment. Loughborough is
also
an approved IEE CPD provider and this course will qualify for 72 Technical
pdus.
