I did a little evaluation of Dow 3-1765 last April in our Nordson Select
Coat system, and made the mistake of running it through our IR oven set up
to cure Emerson & Cuming Unicoat S-7001, which is another solventless,
heat-accelerable silicone coating. I quickly found that you've got to
follow Dow's max cure temp of 65C for the 3-1700 series of coatings - my
oven got the coating to 105C, and it wrinkled up. 150C is DEFINITELY too hot.

We did some more experimenting in October at Nordson's lab with Dow 3-1753,
which is the same material at somewhat higher viscosity (385CPS instead of
130cps) and got similar results. Take Dow's recommendation.
