We are using wire solder which contains flux designated as WSF-0 . This
flux has no polyglycols and is halide free. Following the solder touch -
up of PCB assemblies they are in-line with rinse aid solution and are final
rinsed with DI water. The technical bulletin of the solder manufacturer
specifies SIR to be 1.2E + 09 OHMS.
Are we required to submit test boards for SIR qualification tests?
This is only a hand soldering operation and not wave soldering process .
