Try Flowline Liquid Intelligence at (310) 598-3015 (Seal Beach, CA).
I got their catalog from Brian Controls when we were up in Toronto.  Not
sure if Brian Controls covers Detroit but . . . they're at 800-313-3103.
I haven't used one yet, but their transducers look identical to the
ultrasonic Burkert we put on our HCl bulk tank (different label but same
manufacturer, I think) which worked fine.
They also have plenty of contact & non-contact drum level switches.
I think Omega has some also - they probably have an online catalog.

I am looking for a source of 55 gallon drum level alarms that emit an
