I have found that Wonder Windows 95 has many problems, and this is one of
them.
Try taking out the modem and restart the computer.
goto my computer
select comtrol panel
select system
select device manager
select modem
single select the modem driver
select remove

power down the system and bring it back up
check to see that the drive is gone and power down if gone.
reinstall the modem card.
power up and hope that Wonder Windows 95  see the card.
You will not be able to install it properly unless it is Wonder Windows 95
sees it
at startup.

I hope you do not have to spend the three days of pain I had to.
