Well, it would be a good way to strip part markings, solder mask, etc.  It
might make it very hard for a competitor to reverse engineer your products if
all the markings are gone. <grin>

Acetone is fairly agressive against most polymers and a 15 minute immersion
would not be reasonable.  My question would be "why acetone and why 15
minutes"?.

In addition, your fire marshals will probably not like such a flammable
material in use and you also face VOC issues.  I can't imagine the assembly
workers clammoring for this either.
