We have received a job that calls for a Mill Max press fit socket (P/N
0279-0-15-01-47-35-10-0) to be pressed into a 17 layer, 135 mil thick
printed circuit card. The master drawing package specifies a FHS of
.063". The widest dimension of the socket is .067" at the octogon
shaped portion of the top 1/3 of the shaft. We were just wondering if
anyone has any experience with assembling such devices (i.e., integrity
of the PTH, etc).
Thanks,
Marty W. Sheppard / LYPME
