Hugh, thanks for pointing out the deficiency in our e-mail forum usage guide. You
followed your best instincts and looked for guidance, so this msg to you is "info"
only for the next time the issue comes up. I have initiated action to clarify the
following policy in all our forum guidance documents. I certainly hope that our
forums are beneficial to you. Jack

"This is to reiterate the Policies related to the IPC e-mail forums, as set forth by
the Association's Board of Directors. Job postings are NOT appropriate to any of the
technical forums BUT are approved for posting to the DesignerCouncil forum.

IPC staff monitors (but does NOT screen) postings, and replies when necessary to the
individuals that may post something (commercial announcement not linked to a request,
job posting, virus hoaxes, etc.) that doesn't meet usage guidelines. Because of the
large distribution lists (TechNet has over 1400 members), we typically choose to NOT
post the admonition back onto the forum. If other forum members feel the need to vent
a little over wasted download time and msg reading, we encourage you to reply ONLY to
the original submitter, and NOT to the forum as this only exacerbates the situation."

I had reviewed http://www.ipc.org/html/forum.html to determine the
acceptability of job posting. I found no disclaimers disallowing this,
so if this is not true, I apologize to all group members in advance. My
company is seeking to employ process engineers in Taiwan to provide
supplier management and quality assurance services. We are looking for
individuals that meet the following guidelines:

* PCB manufacturing experience (4-6 years min)
* Engineering degree (preferred, but necessary)
* English speaking & writing skills (preferred, but necessary)
* Currently residing in Taiwan or willing to relocate to Taiwan.

Responsibilities would entail:

*Supplier management
*In process quality auditing
*Final product quality assurance

All individuals interested, please respond directly to [log in to unmask]
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and again if I have
breached the intent of this mail group, I apologize to all.

Best Regards
