BeCu can be made into flex circuit material, but as far as I know it's not
commercially available. The problems in the past have been that the Be
suppliers do not make the foil in the typical thickness needed, and do not
apply the typical adhesion treatments used for flex. The flex materials
manufacture had to get the foil rolled thinner, and have it treated by
several third parties.

Most recent applications have called for it because of the mechanical
properties. These were switched to materials like Olin's Alloy 7025 that
has "good enough" mechanical performance, while maintaining much more of
its conductivity than BeCu, It's also commercially available in the right
configuration.

There may also be some concern about the toxicity of Be in processing,
primarily encountered in machining operations like drill and route, where
metallic dust can be generated.
