     Hi Technetter:

I'm interested in the Pinless Routing (External Pinning Method).

How to do it and what are the things need to be taken care?

What are the Pros and Cons compare with conventional method (Internal
     Pinning Method)?
I have a few doubts on this method:

        a. Will it create "tails" at the starting/ending point of routing?
If so, how to eliminate it?

        b. Will it give a consistence board dimension? What will be the
dimension spec. (+/- 0.005 ?)use for this method?

        c. What if the board being routed is small and light (say 0.03
thickness, 1" X 1")? Won't it be suck by the vacuum?

        d. How to prevent the routed board from moving around/get lifted and
move to next location when routing the board next to it?

        e. What is the minimum gap between each board? (This will greatly
           influent the panel utilisation)

        f. Is there any rule in choosing the starting point? (I suppose the
point chosen must give maximum support to the board.)

        g. Can the programming command for mix-orientation (such as M90,
M80, M70...in Excellon Format) be used. If can, won't this will
cause the starting point's position to be varied?

        h. How to do rework on the board routed with this method? (if
really required!) The only method I can think of is still using
           the Internal Pinning Method.

     Thank you

     K. K
