In some of our assemblies (we run no clean) we use a product called
Preleg. The glue is actually already on the outside of the wire. You
can order a special tip and iron from them (they are fairly cheap) which
will run along the wire and adhere it to the board. We have found it to
be quite successful and are pleased with the quality of the results.

Their contact information is as follows:

Preleg
PO Box 1824
Englewood, FL
34295
(941) 475-6565
fax (941) 475-6566

Please note I have no affiliations with this company other than I am a
satisfied consumer.
