ADC Broadband Communications, a division of ADC Telecommunications,
Inc. has the following positions open.

     1. CAD DESIGN ENGINEER

This is a position for a highly motivated self starting individual.
Applicants must be able to determine board stack ups, impedance con-
trol requirements and spacing rules. The ability to balance engineer-
ing, fabrication, manufacturing, test and documentation requirements
in a time critical environment is a must.

Rf design experience is a must and high speed digital and/or design
for EMI/EMC is a plus. Strong packaging skills and the ability to
work with all members of the engineering team are required. A strong
     work ethic is a must.

     2. SENIOR PWB DESIGNER

This is a position for a highly motivated individual. Strong
packaging skills and the ability to work with all members of the en-
gineering team are a must. High speed digital or rf experience is
required, both preferred. Experience with design for EMI/EMC is a
     plus.

This position requires the creation of documentation, (fabrication
and assembly drawings), and requires a thorough understanding of
printed wiring board fabrication and assembly processes.

     3. CAD LIBRARIAN

This position is for a highly organized individual. The ability to
work with electrical engineers, component engineers and designers in a
timely manner is intrinsic to this position. Librarian duties will
include creating schematic symbols and layout footprints, verifying
symbols and footprints created by others and archiving this infor-
     mation.

Responsibilities may expand to cover the archiving of mechanical
     formats and models.

All the above positions use Veribest PCB as a layout tool and
Viewlogic Workview Office as a schematic capture tool. Documentation
is created and maintained using Autocad. Legacy systems are Pcad,
Orcad and Design Computations. Experience with these tools is a plus,
but we will train the right people.

ADC Broadband Communications is located in central Connecticut, 2
miles west of the I-91/RT68 intersection and 1 mile east of the RT15
     (Merrit Parkway)/RT68 intersection.

We offer a competitive, highly attractive compensation package
commensurate with experience. Interested candidates should forward a
resume, indicating position of interest, to:

"Equal Opportunity" is more than just a line at the bottom of this
ad, it's a commitment we put up front. EOE M/F/D/V.
