Andy there are some other CAM vendors that you might want to check
     out, look at a recent issue of Printed Circuit Design - the January
     issue has an article on CAM tools and DFM. If you are not a subscriber
     to PCD check out our web site (pcdmag.com) for demos of some of these
     tools.

Andy-
You've named most of the big names for CAM Checking, with the exception of
Automata Design's DRC. We use it to validate every design that we produce,
before shipping it to manufacturing. Although we design with Allegro, it
accepts artwork, drill, & netlist data from Mentor, too.
