Dear Mr. Steve Trasatto

I do not seem to have any information on direct HPGL to DXF data
conversion. However, we have adopted using two tools. Being a design
bureau, we often need to prepare complete documentation. One way is to
load the HPGL files to any of the GERBER view/edit software like CAM 350
or PCAMII or Lavenir's View 2001. Then save the converted GERBER into DXF
format.

Alternatively, try conveting to windows metafile format.
