Liquid-liquid is more accelerated. This is because the heat transfer of the
perfluoronated liquid is much better than air. Thus, the rate of change is
faster. This causes higher thermal stresses. The use of accelerated life
tests is to reduce test time & cost (sample size). You can find failures
that may take 100's of parts and 1000's of hrs to find. The only thing you
have to watch out for is failures that would never happen in the field.
