For a commercial application, Bruce I typically use the following:
MARK OR STAMP REVISION LEVEL AND VENDOR TRACABILITY IDENT IN LOCATION
SHOWN USING WHITE EPOXY BASE MARKING INK WITH .12 +/- .02 HIGH SINGLE
STROKE GOTHIC CHARACTERS. MARKING SHALL NOT EXTEND ON TO ANY EXPOSED
SOLDER LANDS OR CONDUCTORS.
