Hello Technetters,

Does anyone have an accurate method for verifying all wirebonds are in
place? The number of wirebonds is too great for visual inspection, and we all
know that isn't 100% accurate. An electrical performance test won't capture
all defective wires. I guess I'm looking at some sort of Automatic Optical
Inspection (AOI) system. Does something like this exist that can check
multiple heights and wire cross overs?

Thanks for any input.
