Didn't realize the white residue on pcb's are such a serious
problem in Boston. I believe the residue is caused by using
recycled water for board washing. Fresh water is abundant
in Vancouver, British Columbia and we always use fresh
water. It is a sound technical solution to pack up your
company and move to British Columbia, and leave your
boards out on roof tops to wash all gummy white residue.
Rainy season has arrived and still is on and it won't last too
long. Hurry!

Merry Christmas everyone!
Matthew

It must be a function of temperature of the process!

| Is this white residue on circuit boards the same stuff
| that everyone is
| talking about in Boston et al? Seems the people in Boston
| have got a very
| serious problem with their process if there is 12 inches
| of it.
|
| Perhaps it is a regional thing - never had this sort of
| problem in this
| region. Perhaps you'd better move all your plants over
| here.
