Hi,
I'm one of the unlucky ones (depending on your viewpiont) who designs
and implements EXTREMELY (darn that CAPS LOCK KEY) cost sensitive
assemblies. Which means single sided and I wonder how many of us are
there out there any more?
PLEASE RESPOND!
PHHH PHHH IS this mike on?
Anyways what I really want to know is when moving from a single to
double sided board, what is the CSPI number, (Cost Per Sqaure Inch) . If
single sided FR-4 is X=1 as a variable what is FR-4 double sided PTH in
cost sensitive assemblies.
12/12 for CLW (Conductor Line Width) and NFS (No Fancy Stuff) I need to
know a mulitplier before I recommend going back to point to point wiring
and eliminating the PWB all together! Thanks for your
inputs/rants/death threats/etc.
Mark
